From 8 to 10 October, Munich hosted the 21st Annual Expo Real, the prestigious international trade fair for real estate and investment. This year's Czech presentation was the largest in the history of Expo Real. The entire Czech exposition was coordinated by Ostrava.

After the successful joint presentation of Prague, Brno and Ostrava at the spring MIPIM international property fair in Cannes, these three cities, together with the South Moravian and Moravian-Silesian Regions, also had a joint presentation at this year's Expo Real. The CZECH CITIES & REGIONS exhibition, also shared by CzechInvest, the Association for Foreign Investments (AFI) and 14 co-exhibitor companies, was the largest Czech presentation in the history of the fair.

In this context, Tomáš Macura, Mayor of Ostrava, which coordinated the joint exhibition, said:

"This year, we have again focused the exposition on smart city and innovation, leisure time, quality of life and education. This concept has increased the attractiveness of the exhibition and attracted new visitors."

This was particularly important at this year's fair, which welcomed a record number of 2095 exhibitors, of which more than 400 were cities and regions. The space was therefore highly competitive.

At the trade fair, the city representatives held talks with investors about the sale of land at Nová Karolina and Mošnov Industrial Zone.
