Exhibition from the treasury of commercial graphics
City of Ostrava’s Archive starts from the 5th September the annual exhibition in the foyer of Ostrava City Hall, which is called Corporate header this time devoted to the treasures of commercial graphics. Its content is characterized by the contemporary slogan "The company will introduce best - postcards, header." The exhibition will be presented a small commercial graphic creations, which were made by order from the 19th century to the 40th of the 20 century.

Through the company's so-called header or letterhead will be introduced a diverse range of relatively larger and smaller companies that have operated in this period in the area, what is now the city of Ostrava. This commercial graphics, greatly influenced by the time of its inception, was primarily intended for advertising, but at the same time it also conceals the considerable charm.
Art Nouveau, or rather frugal corporate header from a later period, selected of the material from the Archives of Ostrava, will be complemented by postcards, along with contemporary newspaper advertisements and advertising.
The exhibition in the foyer of City Hall in Ostrava will be freely accessible to the public seven days a week, on weekdays from 8.00 to 19.00, on Saturdays and Sundays from 9.00 to 19.00 between 5th and 30th September 2011.
