The highlight of the day was a dramatic historical reenactment of a battle between Czechoslovak foreign army troops and Red Army soldiers against the German Wehrmacht, staged in the river embankment area.
While the weather was rainy the day before, sunshine and clear skies graced the main event, contributing to a truly festive atmosphere. Thousands of visitors enjoyed a day filled with entertainment, history, and community spirit.
The City of Ostrava extends heartfelt thanks to all attendees — you were fantastic! Thanks to your cooperation and respect for the organizers’ instructions, the entire day unfolded without any major incidents and in a wonderfully friendly and considerate atmosphere.
Thank you all – and see you again in ten years!
