Preparations for new Strategic Plan
The City of Ostrava is now launching the preparations for its new Strategic Plan covering the period 2017–2023, which will also outline the city's key goals for the following two decades. We have decided to take a different approach than in the past, because we are keen to involve Ostrava's citizens directly in the strategic planning process.
That is why we need your help to point the way forward for our city. The planning process will last throughout this year, and we have called it the fajnOVA project. We want to do everything we can to make Ostrava a great place to live – both now and for future generations. If you want to add your opinion about City of Ostrava, please fill it in our survey!
This questionnaire is aimed at Ostrava’s international community – citizens from all around the world who live and/or work here in Ostrava.
The results of the questionnaire will be published during March 2016 on the website www.fajnova.cz, where you’ll also be able to find regular updates on the planning process and details of how to get involved. Depending on the level of interest from the international community here in Ostrava, we’ll be publishing a range of information in English too. So it would be great if you could forward the questionnaire to your friends, family and colleagues – in fact, anybody with an interest in Ostrava’s future.
