The Story of the New Bazaly Stadium Continues

The first phase of the architectural competition for the design of the new Bazaly Stadium has concluded with nine participants submitting their proposals. These designs will now be evaluated by a professional jury, with the final recommendations to be reviewed by the Ostrava City Council.

„The fact that leading architectural studios from both the Czech Republic and abroad have entered the competition is a great source of pride—not only for me personally, but for the entire city of Ostrava," said Ostrava Mayor Jan Dohnal. „It’s clear that Ostrava has captured attention, and the project is already generating well-deserved interest."

As the competition is anonymous, submitted designs will only be made public after the final results are announced.
