Strategic Projects of the City of Ostrava

The City of Ostrava is the third largest city in the Czech Republic and the metropolitan centre of the Moravian-Silesian Region. As part of its local government powers, and on the basis of decisions taken exclusively by elected local government bodies of the City and its Municipal Districts, the  City is closely involved in the planning and implementation of many exciting projects which have a wide-ranging influence over Ostrava’s future development and the quality of life enjoyed by its citizens. The City of Ostrava also participates in a broad spectrum of smaller-scale projects focusing on various aspects of life in the city.
